Delete your account

RehabAlpha is still under active development. It is not yet HIPAA compliant and should only be used with dummy data.

Use Delete account on Account settings to permanently delete your RehabAlpha login and personal account details, including your signing PIN. Deletion also removes your access to every organization, your private drafts, imports and source files, and unfinished uploads.

Before you start​

  • Complete account setup, including email verification and text-message two-factor authentication, to access Account settings.
  • Have your account password and access to the phone that receives your verification codes. You must have signed in within the last five minutes to confirm deletion.
  • Reassign any work that needs your attention before removing your organization access.
  • If you are a non-test organization's last active linked Owner, assign another active Owner whose member profile is linked to a user account, or separately delete the organization first. RehabAlpha lists any organizations that prevent account deletion.
  • Associated test organizations without a remaining active linked Owner are deleted with your account, even if other members remain. To keep a test organization, ensure someone else has active linked Owner access before deleting your account.

Account deletion cannot be canceled or undone after your request is accepted. Creating a new account with the same email address does not restore your previous organization access.

Delete your account​

  1. Sign in to RehabAlpha, open the account menu, and select Account settings.
  2. In the Delete account section, select Delete account.
  3. In Delete your account?, review the email address and deletion details, then type delete my account exactly as shown.
  4. Select Delete account to confirm.
  5. If prompted, sign in again with your password and text-message verification code. When the confirmation dialog reopens on Account settings, review the details, type delete my account again, and select Delete account.

Signing in again does not automatically delete your account.

After your request is accepted, you are signed out and see Account deletion started on the sign-in page. Deletion continues if you close the browser. RehabAlpha sends you an email when account cleanup is complete. Related files may finish deleting afterward.

You should know​

  • Non-test organizations and test organizations with a remaining active linked Owner keep their member profiles, saved clinical documentation, published attachments, signatures, billing records, and audit history.
  • Your private drafts, imports and source files, and unfinished uploads are removed even from organizations that remain.
  • To leave only one organization, select Remove me for that organization on My account, or use Unlink user in your member settings. These actions preserve your RehabAlpha account.

Frequently asked questions​

What if the app cannot confirm my deletion request?​

Deletion may still be running. An accepted request continues even if you lose your connection, and RehabAlpha sends an email when account cleanup is complete. Related files may finish deleting afterward. If the request was not accepted, try again when connected. Retrying an accepted request does not restart deletion.

What if I cannot sign in or finish account setup?​

If you forgot your password, reset your password. If you can no longer receive verification codes at your registered phone number, request a phone number change.
